I just can not control my temper, and don't take on my responsibility.
I argued with my coach yesterday. No, too be more exact, we quarrelled. He said I knew nothing about the work culture and acted wrongly. When at work, I should obey my supervisor or boss 100%, with no arguement or any excuses. It sounds like a norm. But I just don't understand. He's not my boss. After what happened today, I think he is right. In fact, what annoyed me most is his bossing attitude. Okay, let's say he's my friend, and he just got a bad temper and he was angry at that time. Then everything is explained.
And today, I made a mistake again. It's just a small matter and I couldn't control my temper. And I spoke really rude to my new colleage. How could I have done this!
If I want to be successful in the future, I should never ever make the same mistakes again.
Okay, little Carol, now you've got to change!
First of all, you need to control your temper. I just don't understand, why you can become angry easily, specially when you are at home! There is no enemy in the world, only adversary. Most people have good intentions. And once you stand on their shoes and think about their conditions, you will understand and be considerate. There is no reason to be mad. And I have no idea how you get such a bad temper! If you think the world is beautiful, then it is! And it's always better to live in a beautiful world, isn't it? So, you need to control your temper. Being angry is bad for your health, and a good mood is good for your health. Then you'll see the importance of not having bad emotions. 21 days, you need to form a different habbit. When you have bad emotions or want to be angry, stop talking at once. Then breathe deeply and wait for 10 seconds. Remember, 10 seconds. No matter what you are doing, once you get pissed off, stop talking immediately. If you have to talk, then make sure you are talking with a smile, or you must stop, no matter in what cases.
Second, take up your responsibility and don't ever try to push your duty to others. It's really hard, and you need to gradually form good working habbits. There is just one principle. For anything that you can control, you are the one who is to be blamed. Therefore, you need to take up the responsibility, once things don't go well, then it's all your fault.
Okay, little Carol, don't be mad again and keep the principle in mind. Remind yourself everyday! Tomorrow will be the first day, let's see how far you can get in 21 days. One angry and calmless sentence will be considered a . One will get one punishment-treat your friend a meal. Any friend who want my treat can notice me in advance.
Keep updating the blog on your progress.
I planned to summerize my thoughts on the orientation of my new job tonight. But I really have no mood in doing it at the moment, so I will update tomorrow.
